We recently hired David and his crew to paint multiple areas in our new home, as well as build a pantry and dry bar, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the beginning, David took the time to do the job the right way. He followed the proper preparation process, including applying primer and then at least two coats of paint, which resulted in a clean, professional finish throughout our home.
In addition to the painting work, the pantry and dry bar they built turned out great and have added both functionality and style to our space. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the project.
David's crew was always punctual, arriving when they said they would, and they consistently cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. Everyone was professional, courteous, and respectful of our home throughout the entire process.
We also had a last-minute request to complete some additional projects before hosting an event. David and his crew went above and beyond by coming in on a Saturday morning to make sure everything was finished on time, which we greatly appreciated.
Overall, we are extremely happy with the quality of the work and feel we received excellent value for what we paid. We would highly recommend David and his crew for both painting and construction projects and would not hesitate to work with them again in the future.

David and his team did an amazing job for us! We refinished our condo and redid our kitchen, he was very easy to work with, accommodating and super efficient! He had amazing tips and took over all the details that made a big difference! His crew were super clean, polite and helpful! Most importantly we had a very tight deadline to move in and he went above and beyond to deliver on time! Would absolutely recommend working with him!

David and his team did an amazing job renovating our place, including a kitchen remodel! His attention to detail, insights, and recommendations made a huge difference in the final result. David went above and beyond to ensure every single request was completed to perfection. He is incredibly responsive to texts and calls, stays on top of every detail, and excels at communication and follow-up. And most importantly, he completed the project within the timeline we agreed on!
On top of that, his entire crew was polite, clean, and efficient. I highly recommend David Prainito for any home improvement project.

From getting an estimate thru completion of the project (i've now had at least 3 projects completed with them) they are the best! On time, communicate everything very well. I would never ever look anywhere else to get work done on my house

Highly recommend David and his team. I reached out to him and he was at my place the next day to evaluate the situation. As someone who is not well versed in the home improvement world, David and his team took the time to explain everything in plain English, give me various options and, ultimately, give me their expert advice on what to do. Extremely responsive, transparent and efficient. Hire them, you won’t regret it.

David and his team were a dream to work with. His team was able to get an apartment gutted and completely refinished for me in Downtown Chicago while I was out of state. The communication was excellent and the quality outstanding. I can't recommend them high enough.

David and his company were great to work with. David was responsive and worked quickly to clarify our needs and our scheduling. The team of painters who came (Carlos and Pedro) were total pros, kind, worked quickly, and did an excellent job. What was expected to be a 2 day job ended up being only 1 thanks to their great work. We had a great first experience and will absolutely work with David and his team again soon.

We are extremely happy with the upgrades Prainito Contracting completed in our home. David and Erika made the process as smooth as possible. Damien's work on both the plumbing and electrical was top-notch. Thanks to Russian and Igor, our new bathroom is flawless. Every aspect demonstrates their integrity, problem-solving abilities, and superior craftsmanship. Guillermo also built a functional laundry closet that made the most of our limited space. Other projects included tiling the fireplace and chandelier installation. Overall, a great choice for quality work. Highly recommend them for complex, multi-stage home projects!

David and his team are consummate professionals and treat your space as if it were their own. David took the time to really understand my goals for my home and walk through the space, offering guidance on options. His approach was thoughtful and thorough, and he was able to schedule the work quickly and the turnaround time was amazing. Johnny did an amazing job installing my new floors, paying extra attention to the trim and transitions. Edison and his painting team were fantastic and kind, making sure they understood the color plan, and made the walls look brand new with patching and replacing old/damaged pieces. Above all, David made sure to work with my building staff and HOA guidelines, so I didn't have to worry or play project manager. Worth every penny and I look forward to hiring Prainito Contracting for future projects.

We had a wonderful experience with this team painting our dining room. From the start, David was super responsive and helpful, making the whole process smooth and easy. They were also able to fit us in quickly, which I really appreciated.
David had great input for having our dining room painted from a deep rust color to an off-white, while keeping the job affordable.
Guillermo, in particular, did an outstanding job, he was very professional, communicative, and thorough. He kept the room clean throughout and protected the floors and furniture perfectly, delivering a beautiful result.
They also were able to buy the paint at an industry rate to help our costs as well.
The room looks fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

David, Richard and Damian were all fantastic. I couldn’t recommend more. They coordinated conversion of a spare closet into a laundry room with a hook up for a washer/dryer and utility sink. I had many contractors, who initially agreed to take on the project, unprofessionally ghost me and ignore my calls/texts when the time came to actually do the work. David was prompt, highly professional, and nice. He was super legitimate in being able to quickly provide proof of insurance and licensure. Richard and Damian were highly knowledgeable, patient in their explanations of what they were doing, on time, professional and also nice/friendly. I felt comfortable with all of them being in my home. In a sea of bad eggs, they’re the real deal and were able to make it happen for me after months of aggravation. Thank you!!!
Update: I went to David for a second project, to repaint my entire condo, and he and his team once again were fantastic. I couldn't recommend more. David took the time to understand my vision. He was also prompt in scheduling and didn't drag me along for for weeks/months. When it came time to paint, his team was exactly as hoped for - on time every day, super friendly, respectful as I was working from home, and productive. They were very careful in ensuring proper protection of my things and floors. There were literally zero issues with this project. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

David and his crew are great. Very dependable, superb quality. I had a pipe break and cause considerable damage to the ceiling and drywall. The repair is perfect. They expertly matched the paint. You cannot see a seam or anything that shows the wall/ceiling was repaired.
Then David and his team redid my kitchen. Its lovely. Bright, airy expertly done. So I hired David again. This time for a complete redo in the primary bath. Working with Erica, who recognized my tastes, and the rest of the team, they designed a stunning bathroom. Very good communication, trustworthy. You can trust that David’s team will do an outstanding job and take excellent care of your property.
I cannot speak highly enough about Prainito contractors. They are my absolute go to for home remodel/improvement.

David and his team were amazing! We had a tight timeline to get a lot of work done before we needed to move in and he was able to get everything I wanted done, without sacrificing quality. David was recommended to me by a neighbor and I am so happy to have a contractor I can count on for all my future house projects!

5 star experience with David & his team. They were really interested in solving the root cause of our issue (the reason for the work) and waited to price it until we felt good about what the scope of the work would entail. Great communication with the team all the way through. Will definitely reach back out for our next project

I truly lucked out in finding David to renovate my first home purchase. He and his team transformed my 2-bed, 2-bath high-rise condo with an expert full-unit paint job, a modern kitchen makeover (including painted wood cabinets and a reglazed backsplash), and hardware and light fixture upgrades throughout. This was a complex and detailed scope of work, completed within a tight, one-week timeline.
David was a true pleasure to work with—professional, collaborative, and very generous with his time and expertise from start to finish. His communication was top-notch and seamless, with regular updates, flexibility around my schedule and requests, and proactive coordination with building management to ensure everything complied with condo regulations.
He not only executed the project beautifully but consistently went above and beyond—suggesting paint colors to match my design ideas, recommending a backsplash reglaze versus replacing outdated tile, offering to install soft-close hinges on the newly painted cabinets, and even providing complementary kitchen lighting to complete the makeover. His estimates and pricing for the scope and complexity of the work stood out to me as the most fair and competitive. He also accommodated every new change to the project I requested, expanding the work from a full-condo paint job to include the multiple kitchen updates, hardware installations and detailed punch list completion.
David and his team of painters and contractors completed the entire job in just one week. The team was excellent—professional, efficient, and fully accountable throughout.
David was nothing short of exceptional, and I’d gladly work with him again on any future home project. Thank you, David!

David and the entire Prainito team were wonderful to work with. As first-time home buyers, the process of tackling our very first home improvement project felt daunting, but David made all the difference. He was patient, took the time to explain each step of the process, and answered all of our questions. His collaborative approach made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire experience. David and his team delivered great quality work. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner for this important milestone in our lives. We wholeheartedly recommend David and the Prainito team to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused team.

It was a pleasure working with David and his team renovating our studio apartment. He was conscientious regarding Condo Association rules and meeting requirements. I appreciated his quick responses to questions and follow through on items. David’s team removed a wall, replaced cabinets, installed new flooring and tile backslash, and painted entire condo. I truly appreciate how patient David was as we made changes along the way and always had a “We can do that” attitude with us! And, shout out to Jose (on David’s team) who patched a hole in the wall that one would never know was there. I highly recommend Prainito Contracting for any work needed. David, we’ll be calling you for our next project.
